Important context is often trapped inside social interfaces. A caption may contain credits, instructions, sources or a useful piece of writing, yet moving it into a personal research workflow can be awkward. Instaustad makes that narrow task simple.

Useful before impressive
The tool is intentionally focused: paste a public post or Reel link, retrieve the available caption and choose what to do next.
Privacy by restraint
Instaustad does not ask for Instagram passwords and does not build a database of submitted links or extracted captions.
Respect creators
Easy access is not a license to copy. Our guides explain attribution, copyright and ways to turn research into original work.
